We love our cars!
For years, Coveland has been helping to keep your beloved classic automobile running safely and smoothly. With more than 50 years of combined experience, we can assist you in restoring or simply maintaining your automobile. It's safe to say that everyone at Coveland has a bad case of car fever, most of us owning more than one classic, and although we may know every Lucas joke in the book we can also keep them working.
Restoration From Austin-Healey to Triumph (and even a few Volkswagon and Datsuns), we've worked on the restoration of hundreds of cars, ranging from freshening an original classic to nut-and-bolt rebuilding to better than showroom condition. With a wide variety of specialties, contact us for your project.
Maintenance Some folks like to work on their cars day in and day out and only use us for major jobs. Others like to be sure we take care of their cars for every day items. Either way works for us. It's no secret that our beloved autos can cause us incredible highs and indescribable lows...we can help you with all your maintenance needs.
Repair A classic car repair is best not left to modern-day mechanics in many cases. Give them a cartridge style oil filter to change or ask them to adjust a side-draft Weber and be sure to bring your video camera...you'll want to be able to show us what they did so we can do it right. It's true that older cars are simpler in principle, but most modern cars everything is diagnosed by computer. Take the computer away from the tech and you can get in trouble quick. We know how your car is supposed to feel, sound, and smell...something only years of experience can develop. Whether it is beefing up your suspension or building a full-on race engine, we're here to help.
Parts and Tools We have accumulated a large inventory of new and used parts over the years. Need a windshield or tranny for an MGB...we've got dozens! We also carry a line of inexpensive, good DIY-mechanic quality tools, many of which can be purchased in our eBay store. We also carry a selection of memorabilia, and assorted items such as steering wheels, diecast collectible models, and cleaners.
